These SMS Terms and Conditions apply to text messages sent by A1 Builder's Supplies Corp.

Who We Are

These SMS Terms and Conditions are issued by A1 Builder's Supplies Corp, a family-owned lumber and building-materials yard located at 2101 Pond Rd, Ronkonkoma, New York 11779.

These Terms cover text messages about lumber and building materials only. Every message is sent by A1 Builder's Supplies Corp and identifies A1 Builder's Supplies Corp as the sender.

Pond Ready Mix is a different company, and it does not text. Concrete at 2101 Pond Rd is supplied by Pond Ready Mix, a separate legal entity with its own ownership and billing. We share this yard and this phone number with them, but A1 Builder's Supplies Corp is the only one of the two that sends text messages, and we text only about lumber and building materials. You will never receive a text from us about a concrete pour. If you have concrete booked, Pond Ready Mix will call you.

A1 Builder's Supplies Corp is not affiliated with, related to, or connected in any way to the similarly named “A-1 Building Supply,” a separate and unrelated company operating in Texas.

Messaging Program

Program name: A1 Builder's Supplies Corp Customer Communications.

This is a one-to-one business messaging program. It is not a marketing, promotional, or bulk-broadcast program. We do not send advertising text messages, and we do not add phone numbers to any distribution list.

Program Description

A1 Builder's Supplies Corp may send one-to-one business text messages to customers, contractors, vendors, or business contacts who agree to receive text messages. Messages may include quote follow-ups, material pricing help, product availability checks, delivery coordination, account or order questions, and requested follow-up.

Opt-In

You may opt in verbally during a business conversation with A1 Builder's Supplies Corp, including a phone call, an in-person conversation at the yard, a quote discussion, an account discussion, an order discussion, or a delivery coordination conversation.

Before enrolling you, a staff member reads the following disclosure word for word and enrolls your number only after you say yes.

Would it be alright if we text you from 844 526 2525 about your lumber and building-materials quotes, pricing, product availability, order questions and delivery scheduling? We would not text you about concrete. That is Pond Ready Mix, a different company. Message frequency varies, usually about one to four messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to cancel, or HELP for help. Saying yes is completely optional and it is not required to buy anything from us. Our SMS terms and privacy policy are linked at the bottom of every page on our website. Would you like me to add your number?”

Read the SMS Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Staff can provide these links during the conversation before asking for permission. Entering your number in the website quote builder, browsing products, or accepting website terms does not enroll you in this messaging program.

We enroll your number only if you answer yes.

We keep an internal record of each verbal opt-in, including the date and time, mobile number, whether permission was given by phone or at the counter, disclosure version, person who gave consent, and staff member who obtained it. You may ask us what consent we have on file for your number.

Your consent applies only to text messages from A1 Builder's Supplies Corp about lumber and building materials. We do not obtain consent on behalf of any other business, including Pond Ready Mix, and we do not accept consent obtained by any other business on our behalf. Pond Ready Mix does not send text messages from the shared number; concrete follow-up stays by phone or email unless Pond Ready Mix later gets its own number, registration and terms.

Consent to receive text messages is optional. It is never a condition of purchasing any product or service from us.

Eligibility

This messaging program is intended for business contacts and is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. You may enroll only a mobile number that you own or are authorized to use. If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, please notify us at 844 526 2525 or [email protected] so that we can update or remove it.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your quote, order, account, delivery, or follow-up activity. Most customers receive approximately 1 to 4 messages per month. During an active order or a scheduled delivery, you may receive more messages in a short period. Because these are conversational business messages, the number of messages depends on the conversation.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and mobile plan.

Opt-Out

Reply STOP. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, REVOKE, and QUIT.

You are not limited to those keywords. You may revoke your consent by any reasonable method that clearly expresses your wish to stop receiving text messages from us, including telling a staff member by phone at 844 526 2525, telling a staff member in person at the yard, emailing [email protected], or replying to a text message in your own words.

Once you opt out, we stop messaging you. You may receive a single confirmation of the opt-out, but no further messages unless you later provide fresh express written consent to restart.

If you ask us to stop texting, your request applies to every kind of text message we send, including quotes, orders, and deliveries. It applies regardless of which message you replied to.

Opting out of text messages does not affect your ability to do business with us. We will still take your calls, quote your material, and coordinate your deliveries by phone or email.

Help

For help, reply HELP to any text message. Our reply will identify A1 Builder's Supplies Corp, provide our phone number, and remind you that you can reply STOP to opt out.

Your Mobile Information Is Not Shared or Sold

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, affiliates, or lead generators. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign.

Messaging providers and mobile carriers process mobile numbers and message content to operate this program. That service processing does not authorize selling consent, enrolling you with another sender, or using your information for unrelated marketing. Supported Carriers and Carrier Disclaimer

Availability depends on your mobile carrier, device and service plan. Carrier participation and coverage may change, and delivery is not guaranteed. Do not rely on a text message alone for an urgent delivery change; call us to confirm it.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. A website update does not expand the subjects you agreed to receive or replace any new consent that is required. You may reply STOP at any time.
